My name is Charlotte I have been related to the book (black and white).
in my past years, probably in grade 2 I was harassed by kids because they were making fun of me and my old best friend Udai.
Udai was a really good friend of mine cause he was my neighbor when i lived on hopewell avenue.
He wasesent necessarly all black but he was darker then me im pretty sure he was indian.
Anywase we were really good friends and one time we were walking to school together and
we were crossing the street so he held on to my hand for safety. And this boy named Joey saw and he thaught we were dating so he made a rumour and everyone thaught we were wierd because we were a different race then eachother so me and Udai made an agrement that we wouldent hang out anymore because of this nonsence so right since then we havent talked to eachother and the rumour just faded away
and no one even thinks of it or remembers it, but me and him. Its like its stuck in our life and we cant get
it out!

assignment 16 (first part)
I think the main idea of the message in sketches by eric walters is: This girl named Dana
struggles to stay alive in the alleys and subway stations. Everyday she constantly asks
people for money because she left home and she needed money to buy food for her to
survive in downtown toronto. One time when she was doing graffiti she got caught by a
counselor and sketches (a drop in center which homeless teens could do art.
Dana was starting to paint but then started hesatating and explaining why she left home.
I have already read some of this book so i pretty much no alot of it.
And i think this is a very good book!
I think the main idea of the message in black and white by eric walters is: This black
girl named Denyse meets a white boy named thomas in highschool, and everyone thinks its wierd that they are best friends
but they find it even wierder when they start dating. Everyone didnt think it was right to date an oppisite
skin colour as you. But the couple did not no what was so bad about it so they kept on dating.
I have not read this book but Eric Walter's explained what it was about, very well so it feels
like iv'e already read it.

Sams sister Beth is staying behind, and driving her parents to the airport not knowing

3:i want to learn how to do a long poem. And that doesent really make sence at the starting but once yu read it again yu have a laugh or a giggle. So i kind of want to do a funny kind of riddle or joke kind of poem.
2:They talked about how a poem doesent have to rhyme and also that poems can be about a story that happened to you or something that remindes you of something.

assignment 11
dear, mother
Im just about settled down here. After a few weeks of all the hard work i've been through.
Theres about 1500 men here, and most of them are tired and hurt.
We all have to sleep in the sand with one blanket under us and two over us to keep warm.
One average man had to eat 1 pound of sand each day! It sounds horable doesent it?
We have to go to sleep at 10:00 and wake up at 5:30 to do the roll call.
We have to work night and day everyday!
ill be able to send some money back home and hope you reply me soon.

ASSIGNMENT # 7
how creative are you?
I am very artistic with my work because I love to sketch tree's and people. Thats probably the best things I love to do when I do art. My favorite subject in school is art. Also I do not like painting, it wastes time and you get really dirty with all the paint colours. I also love to do music i play the trumpet in band and I play piano and I am starting to play violen. When my friends think of me the first thing that comes to there mind is creative and artistic. In grade 6 my friends would want me to draw them everythem they could think of...I drew dragons,flowers,fairy's,people, etc...Then in grade 7 i dint do that much drawings i mostly was colouring and shading things. But now i still love drawing because my weekness is probably not drawing cause i start geting really annoyed I do not know why so dont even bother asking:) So I am 100 % artistic ty!

Empathy means freedom. It means when you respect other peoples coulture and expectations for there religion like not makeing rude comments on what they ware or what they cant eat and respect someone like how you would want to be respected back!

Island Man (for a Caribbean island man in London who still wakes up the sound of the sea)

and island man wakes up
to the sound of blue surf
in his head
the steady breaking and wombing
wild seabirds
and fishermen pushing out to sea
the sun surfacing defiantly
from the east
of his small emerald island
He always comes back
groggily groggily
comes back to sands
of a grey metallic soar
to a surge of wheels
to dull North Circular roar
muffling muffling
his crumpled pillow waves
island man heaves himself
another London day

Hi my name is Charlotte but you can call me Charzie. I hope you will read my comments and blogs. I am atletic, loves giraffs and polar bears and I get shy around guys who I like.My number one bff who ive known more then 10 years is Georgina. My favorite sport is football I dont like the colour blue but I just adore the colours scarlett and torquoise, and I am a shopoholic! I love singing and dancing but I have not been in a choire since seccond grade. I am in a band, I play the trumpet and I think i am the only girl who plays that instrument in grade 7 and 8.
